JNews Staff: Yosef Benari

אחינו בני ישראל, We are living in desperate times. We have no leadership. As a public, we are being taken advantage of by our own community members who are acting as the gentile (Goyishe) elite, who are preaching to us on what to do and how to vote while they themselves are enriching themselves with political favors on our behalf.

Because we are all so busy raising our children, learning Torah, doing Mitzvos and working so hard to eek out a Parnassah to sustain ourselves, we do not have the time to to delve into the issues going on in the world today. Add to that, even if we were to dedicate time to finding out the important news of the day, the media is so full of phony, fake, and misleading information, it will only cause us more problems than that of remaining ignorant.

What has resulted from years on relying on “self interested leadership” is an amount of corruption that is truly blinding to anyone who delves into it.

JNews is NOT a publication that is interested in spreading gossip, לשון הרע, and “Yente” stories to entertain those who have nothing else to do with their time.

We have reported on stories about the corrupt” activities of our so called Respectable Askanim who have been misleading us for years and years to our detriment.

They send us letters and publish ads in the local Jewish Media Outlets on whom we as a devoted hard working צבור should vote for, and we as devoted “Sheep” with all our sincerity, take there advice. What do we get for it? More Real Estate Development and a few dollars to צדקות.

Now make no mistake. We are not criticizing the beautiful acts of Tzedaka that are done by many of these same Askanim; חס ושלו׳!!!

On the other hand, we should NOT allow those very same people to decide for us how a Jewish community should be run, or who we should vote for!

We are coming close to important Elections in NJ and NY. The current Governor of NJ and his Left Wing Administration are מושחתים who are participants in the NEW MARXISM which is plaguing the world. Make no mistake: THEY DO NOT LIKE US AND THEY DO NOT LIKE OUR WAYS. They have a universal agenda to ‘PURGE’ the world of ALL RELIGION.

And yet, there are Jewish askanim and even ‘old’ Jewish Organizations lie the one which has recently raised $6,000,000 from your hard earned money in order to support the efforts to get Candidates like Phil Murphy, Gov. of NJ, and some other monster like that in NY, in the name of הכרת הטוב

Former Gov of New York – His orders were caused the deaths of thousands of nursing home Patients

PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS! ONE OF THE HEADS OF THESE SO CALLED JEWISH ORGANIZATIONS WORKS FOR MURPHY AND DRAWS HIS LIVELIHOOD FROM HIS ASSOCIATION WITH HIM.

While at the same time our School Busing is being taken away, our children will be forced to wear masks and take a Vaccine which can harm them for life.

JNews does not do this for Advertising revenue. Nor do we want to do your thinking for you. But we will fight to keep yoi informed about the REAL NEWS taking place in the world so that you will not be fooled.

  1. Thank you this has to be publicized there are $elf appointed a$kana$ with $elf intre$t$ that must be called out.

  2. Defining the Askonim of today Versus the Askan/Shtadlan of yester-year.
The word Askan/ Shtadlanim, the title public servant, has referred to a person characterized by selfless love for the Jewish people who sacrifices himself for the public good. We grew up hearing stories of people ran across Europe meeting with kings and governments in an effort to avert terrible decrees against the Jewish people.

All this was done at their own personal peril and their own expense. The early klal workers in this country wanted nothing more than to spread Chinuch and literally were Moser Nefesh for that ideal.

Every good thing can be abused. This includes public service and community service when a trust of the people with interests other than those of the public they represent. If that happens, the people who suffer the most are all of us, all of klal Yisroel, because the true Askonim / shtadlanim-and there many out in there in the trenches helping others lesheim Shamayim will have lost the goodwill of the public due to the indiscretions and selflessness of the abusers.

There is a tremendous pitfall in askanus, a pitfall associated with all positions of power, especially those that are based on trust. In other words, the second an Askan begins to think that it’s about me not about the cause; he is doomed to failure, because when there is a conflict between the “me” and the “cause”, the “me” is going to win and the “cause” is going to lose. That means that the little guy is going to lose.

The problem is that some Askonim become so swept up with their roles and their deeds even good deeds, that they often have a hard time separating themselves from the cause. They begin to think of themselves as the cause in itself.

If Askonim want to retain the goodwill of the people and continue to help them; they must understand a few points. Firstly, it’s not about me. It’s about helping people. Secondly, an Askan is there to fill a need or a void. He’s not there to create a need and then becomes a knight in shining armor who will fix it. Don’t create a need or an organization that’s unnecessary or has already been created by someone else. If you do that, you’re not an Askan, but rather opportunist and a copycat to boot.

In addition, it goes without saying that if a person’s public service will in anyway benefit his own private business, Mosad or interest, that person is not an Askan, but rather an opportunist utilizing the public to further his financial or organizational goals.

One particular form of askanus is that which exists in relationship between politicians and public servants. This is especially so when individuals with personal agendas and financial interests try to become liaisons between the Frum community and politicians, taking advantage of the naiveté of so many in our Tzibur.

These words should not be taken as an indictment on askanus. On the contrary, it is because we feel that altruistic public services are such an integral component of preserving the welfare of our communities and ensuring the flourishing of Yiddishkeit that we must weed and out and separate the true Askonim / shtadlanim, the true public servants, who selflessly give of themselves and their time for the public with little thought for recognition and remuneration, from the charlatans and opportunist who sully the ideal of askanus and sully the name of our communities in an unforgettable, unforgivable way.

As a prominent Rebbetzin “in the know” said “I never saw an (ex)Askan, without full pockets”.

  3. One that likes steaks, herring, etc., why do the dismember it, eat it etc.?
Because about themselves only, they’ll use any method to get that satisfaction.
One Ba’kovid way to get is by portraying oneself as an “Askan”. (is that why we have covid?)
After a while, they are not even embarrassed, then they don’t even realize what they are doing to enrich themselves.
ואנשי סדום רעים וחטאים להשם מאוד
should not have had an אתנחת’ at all, yet it’s before להשם מאוד
When they claim they don’t mean any benefit for themselves at all, only for Hashem, etc.
That’s how you identify an אנשיסדום’ניקץ

  5. Indeed. We should be planning to sue them for religious discrimination. When they advertise that they are fighting anti-Semitism and don’t back us up, they are defrauding the community because they use our cause to fundraise and don’t deliver. Lawsuits can be a gamechanger and a way to take the power back. Kick ’em in the tukhas.

  6. Self appointed askanim and vaads that were formed without elections or public input have no right to speak to politicians on behalf of the klal. They should be halachicly prohibited from any representation of the community.
