Amazingly, this comes from a Supreme Court that is known to be Left Wing liberal. Is this a sign that perhaps even lefties are considering the threats to personal freedom?

Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court recently struck down Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf’s school mask mandate.

On Friday, the state court ruled the governor and his health secretary didn’t have the power to issue the mandate. The suit was brought on by a group of parents, school districts and Republican legislators.

A representative for the State Health Department called the ruling “disappointing,” saying forcibly masking kids is designed to keep them safe.

“The administration recognizes that many school districts want to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff, and we are hopeful they will make appropriate mitigation decisions moving forward,” said Wolf’s spokeswoman, Beth Rementer.

The Republicans, however, disagree and say the mandate is divisive and parents should be free to decide what’s best for their kids.

“It’s the right of parents and legal guardians to gather the facts and decide what they view is in the best interest of their child,” stated Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-Pa.).
