Mother Jones is reporting that West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin has discussed with his staff leaving the Democrat Party and running as an Independent, if the Democrats do not slash their “infrastructure” spending bill. 

According to Mother Jones, he has an exit strategy.  The hold-out Senator recently penned an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, citing concerns about rising inflation as his reason for tightening the purse strings on reckless spending.  Both sides of Congress voted for what can be described as a massive Socialist redistribution program.  Technically, we are experiencing stagflation, a rising cost of goods amidst stagnant growth. 

Leaked transcripts of a Democrat meeting after the election show that Sen. Manchin is scared for his job facing reelection in right-leaning West Virginia.
