A Historic Event

Not since the migration from Europe to Eretz Yisroel in the early 1800’s by members of the European Chasidic community and the ‘Talmidei HaGra,’ as well as the migration that too place in the late 60’s and early 70’s, has their been a such a enthusiastic response to such a beautiful calling.

What began last summer as a dream by a idealistic vibrant group of young ‘Avreichim,’ has materialized to a reality that has now grown to a group of 37 applicants.

Last summer a group organized by Rabbi Dovid Koleditzky mobilized to kraft a plan in response to a growing threat to the children and the adults, as a result of the spiraling levels of immorality and dystopia that invades all segments of society.

While the challenges of migration are numerous and complex, some of the top concerns expressed by prospective involved appropriate housing, proper educational resources for their children and access to ‘parnassa’ resources.

The group has connected to an established American frum community that adheres to the highest standards of the Lakewood NJ Community which will band together with almost 40 new families from Lakewood to create ‘Kiryas Lakewood’ located 30 minutes outside of Yerushalayim.

Newly constructed homes are available for rent, both 5 bedroom single homes and 2 bedroom cottages. Planning is now being done to build housing for purchase for those that want and decide to stay and build this new vibrant community.
